Be honest.
How many of these are you?
The builder quoted ₹/sqft. The final bill was something else.
I don't know how many rooms actually fit on my plot.
Is my plot big enough for everything I want?
Do I really need another floor?
I know I want a home. But where do I start?
Nobody gave you a starting brief.
psst… these move.
Go on, drag one.
Most homes take the long way round: a guess, a revision, a surprise. Know Your Home gets you through the first two stops, so everything after them starts from something real.
A plot and a lot of questions.
What your plot can hold, floor by floor.
What your home costs to build, with add-ons shown separately.
Your architect shapes it around how you live.
Built as planned, with no surprises.
A brief your architect and builder can work from.
All five. That's a proper start.
Dear future homeowner,
Let me start with a confession: most people who walk into our studio aren’t really asking for a house. They’re asking a question they don’t know how to say out loud. Is this enough? Can my life fit here?
I’ve heard it in a hundred ways. A young couple holding a printout of a 1,200 sq ft plot. A son who wants his parents to have a ground-floor bedroom. A working woman who just wants one window where the morning light falls on her desk. They come with a plot size and a budget and, underneath both, a quiet worry that small means compromise.
I don’t believe that. I never have. A 1,000 sq ft plot isn’t a smaller dream. It’s a dream that needs more thought. That’s why we started Pocket Home.
But something kept bothering me. I’ve watched doctors, engineers and business owners, careful people who research every purchase, begin the biggest build of their lives with no brief at all. A contractor quotes per square foot, someone shows them pretty elevations, and nobody stops to ask: How do you actually live? Who wakes up first? Will your parents move in someday? Most families only find those answers halfway through construction, when changes are expensive and the stress is real.
I often tell clients that a house is like a t-shirt. You don’t pick the colour first and hope it fits. You start with the size: your plot and your life.
So we built Know Your Home.
It’s the first conversation I wish every family could have before they spend a single rupee. You tell us about your plot and what you want in it, floor by floor. We give you a clear brief, an honest cost range, and a starting point you can actually hold. Brief, then cost, then design, then build. In that order, the way it should be.
It isn’t meant to replace your architect. It’s meant to make sure that when you sit across from one, you already know your home a little better than you did yesterday.
Because a home isn’t concrete and steel. It’s the corner where your kid does homework. The balcony where you drink your evening chai. On a small plot, every one of those moments has to be designed on purpose.
Not bigger homes. Better-understood ones.
